LOCATION: 9404 E. Marginal Way South, Seattle, WA 98108

Private Tour of the B-17 at The Museum of Flight!
WHY: As a follow-on to WWII pilot Capt Dick Nelms’ virtual aerospace talk with the AFA Greater Seattle Chapter in February, now that the weather is nicer, we have an incredible opportunity to explore the aircraft he flew!
***This is an extremely rare opportunity as the B-17 is typically not open to the public.***
WHAT: Small group tours of the interior of the B-17 on display at the Museum of Flight
→ We are also honored to announce that we will have  Capt Dick Nelms joining us! He will be doing discussions outside of the B-17 with those in attendance.
WHO: Due to the limited capacity for the tours, this event is only open to AFA members and their significant others or immediate family members who RSVP.
→ However, IF, space allows, we will open this up to non-AFA members; so please RSVP and we will let you know if there is room for guests.
WHEN: Wednesday, 9 July, from 1030-1230
→ The Museum closes at 5pm and attendees are encouraged to stay after to explore all that the TMOF has to offer.
→ Thanks to the generosity of TMOF, the entrance fee into the Museum will be waived for those that RSVP.
Join us for lunch (not sponsored/self-pay) in the cafe and our own docent-organized tour following lunch for those interested. Please RSVP!
